Jemima Wyman is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. In 2007, she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from The California Institute of Arts in Los Angeles. Wyman’s individual practice spans across various mediums and  focus’s on the politics of fabric in conflict and protest. For the past eight years she has also collaborated with Anna Mayer as CamLab.  She has exhibited at various art gallery’s and museums including the 21st Century Museum of contemporary art (Japan), the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (Melbourne), Museum of Contemporary Art (Sydney) and Museum of Contemporary art (Los Angeles). Her most recent solo exhibition ‘Effacing Power’ was held at Steve Turner Contemporary in April 2013. In 2012 for The Unexpected Guest: Liverpool Biennial, Wyman was commissioned by FACT to make ‘Collective Coverings, Communal Skin’.This large scale community project was generously supported by The Australia Council for the Arts, New Work Grant.

 

Jen Bruce is a multimedia artist living and working in Los Angeles.  Her works include textiles, video and performance and explore concepts of utopia, radical economies and time.  Offering free services, creating quilts for public use and using recycled materials, she examines social constructs and practical relationships to the art object.  She received her BFA from California Institute of the Arts and shows work in the LA area.
